22 Gauge Artistic Wire, Gold, Brass and Bronze Tones

Artistic Wire has long been the go to choice for wire wrapping but it is also suitable for looming, chain maille, jig work, weaving and even crochet. For knotting a better choice is Griffin Silk, also on this site.
22 Gauge is the most popular size - dead soft for flexibility but it holds its shape beautifully. Thickness increases as the gauge number decreases.

NOTES:

• Gold is actually plated with pure silver first then plated with gold. This provides excellent tarnish resistance.
• For Gold Color options: Champagne is a lovely pale gold, Bare Yellow Brass is a slightly deeper gold and Tarnish Resistant Brass a deeper warmer gold. Any can be substituted for Gold. Bronze is classic dark bronze.
• Bare Phosphor Bronze, sometimes called tin bronze, is a great choice for antique or vintage styling. It naturally patinas over time. Its alloy content of tin and phosphorous makes it excellent to resist corrosion and can be soldered.
