This is the original and genuine patented Ball and Socket or Trailer Hitch Clasp. Make sure it has the patent stamp on the socket and the patent number on the ball. There are lots of copies but none function as well. Ball & Socket clasps hold securely yet are easy to get on and off. They are a great option for those with dexterity issues because of arthritis or other conditions.
