4 lb. Fireline is great for projects with multiple passes through small beads such as Delicas. It is also good for creating fringe or other design elements where you want more drape than can be achieved with 6 lb.

Fireline is a pre-waxed, braided cord consisting of gel-spun polyethylene which is known as the strongest fiberper diameter, ever created. It has anunbelievably high tensile strength and has been recommended in numerous how-to articles on beadworking.
