BeadSmith Beading Foundation is a stiff, durable foundation material designed for bead embroidery, cabochon beading, sewing and other beadwork projects. It is easy to bead through while maintaining its shape, allowing you to stitch right up to the edges without the material puckering or stretching.

Unlike softer backing materials, Beading Foundation provides a stable surface for detailed beadwork. It does not fray or tear easily, is washable and shrink resistant, and works beautifully with glued-on cabochons. The White foundation can also be dyed with fabric dyes or customized with permanent markers and iron-on transfers.

Available in two sizes and your choice of Black or White.
