So handy for ending pearl knotting or other designs where you want to hide the knot and attach it to a clasp. Remember to add a dab of glue to the knot once inside the clamshell tip and let it cure for a few minutes before continuing. Squeeze the knot cover gently closed to avoid making a dent.

If attaching to a very strong clasp, such as a Mag-lok 8 magnetic clasp (sold here) consider using French Wire (also sold here!) instead. Or choose the closed-end clamshell tip (also sold here!) Mag-lok 6 magnetic clasps and others, such as toggles and box clasps are fine to use with the clamshell tip.
